With this new version of the internal software, you might as well say you've got a new Sylphyo. With brand new methods of expression control and easy settings menus, you'll be able to breathe new life into your sounds.

This version also offers some bug fixes and **tons** of new features.
Thus, you might want to skim the user manual and keep it handy.

(If you tested this version as a beta, please reset your Sylphyo before installing this one.)

**Bug fixes:**

 - Done with _stuck_ keys or finger recognition issues
 - Much more precise slider that only starts _below_ the thumb
 - Reduced breath control and key latency
 - Less unwanted notes during legatos
 - Less redundant MIDI messages (only what's needed)
 - Faster startup and display
 - MIDI note messages are now better scheduled so as to allow some synths to recognize _legato_

**New features:**

 - Brand new interface
   - New performance screen
   - Easy to use, scrolling menus
   - You can now go to the settings menu by holding the Aodyo key while sliding your thumb on the slider from the very bottom to the thumbrest
   - The slider can be used in menus to quickly navigate, select items, and change values
   - Use the Aodyo key to quickly get out of a menu
   - Quick settings work almost like before, but you must use the lower octave key to access the MIDI channel
   - You can now monitor and control the pairing state with the wireless receiver device
 - Customizable MIDI mappings
   - More gestures can be used to send MIDI CCs, and you can select which CC for each of them
   - Easy MIDI Learn in the Mappings menu (select a CC, then blow into the Sylphyo to send only this CC)
 - Improved breath control
   - More reactive, more sensitive breath control
   - Customizable breath control frequency, up to 1000Hz (allows you to perform voice-related techniques)
   - Easy breath sensor configuration: minimum, range, and response curve
 - Improved performance keys
   - More reactive, more sensitive keys
   - Customizable reaction time (to optimize legato performance)
   - Updated fingerings, there are now 42 of them
   - _Key-bend_ mode (beta feature), allowing to pitch-bend by sliding the finger on a key (see manual)
   - _Replay same note_ option: allows to replay a note that is performed using two different consecutive fingerings
   - _Key noise_ option (beta feature): allows to head key noise even when not breathing (with Samplemodeling/SWAM virtual instruments)
 - A better slider
   - More reactive, more sensitive slider
   - Choose between several main functions for the slider: control (like before), but also _latch_ (the value remains even after contact ends), and pitch-bend (like a pitch-bend wheel)
   - Choose another slider function, depending on whether contact has started on the top or on the bottom edge
 - Movement control, redux
   - To activate the _move_ mode (_inertial mode_), no need to go into a menu, just shake the Sylphyo downwards while your right thumb touches the slider
   - To get out of inertial mode, no need to go into a menu, just blow into the mouthpiece (makes sense, ain't it?)
   - You can also use two orientation angles of the Sylphyo (elevation and roll) to control two different CCs
 - Is that it?
   - No, please also check our brand new test app, Sylphyo Bench! Its five sounds are designed to harness the new capabilities of your Sylphyo, and to identify potential issues

Huge thanks to our testers and early adopters. Contact us (contact@aodyo.com) if you'd like to participate in our beta test program, if you've spotted a nasty bug, or if you have any kind of trouble with your instrument.
Have fun playing!
